How to Accept Christ
The journey of faith begins with a simple step of trusting Jesus and inviting Him into your life. Below is a simple guide to help you understand what it means to accept Christ.
Steps to Follow
Step 1: Admit your need: Acknowledge that you have flaws and make mistakes, and ask God for forgiveness.
Step 2: Believe in Jesus: Trust that Jesus is the Son of God who paid the price for your wrongs by dying on the cross and coming back to life.
Step 3: Confess and invite: Choose to turn away from your old habits and ask Jesus to come into your life as your Savior and guide.
A Simple Prayer You Can Pray
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that You raised Him to life. I trust Him as my Savior, and I want to follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. Please come into my life and help me live for You. Amen."

How to Volunteer
Serving at Lakewood Baptist Church is a great way to love others and grow in your faith. All church members must pass a background check before serving.
