Mr. Jeff Broadbent Organist

Jeff was born on February 4, 1955 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Jeff studied music at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. He began his career as an organist at Shenango Presbyterian Church in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Jeff and his family relocated to South Carolina in 1983. He served as organist at Scherer Presbyterian Church (1986 - 1993) in Lake Wylie, SC and accepted a position at Lakewood Baptist Church in 1993. Jeff has served here for 14 years.

Mrs. Marguerite Johnson Pianist

Marguerite began using the talent God gave her by playing in her home church near Saulda, South Carolina. After graduating from Mississippi College with a BM in piano, she has taught piano and served as pianist in several churches. She has been pianist at Lakewood since 2000. It is Marguerite’s desire that her playing will bring praise and worship to God. Her prayer is Psalm 86:12, “I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.”
